For this movie musical one hears classical and jazz melodies, and attends The American Ballet in New York. (Ya wanna become a ballet dancer?? Ya know how tuff that is???)

"Center Stage" which debuted May 12, 2000 is a
backstage movie about what it takes to 'make dancers'.

Elizabeth Snead in USA Today described "Center Stage" as "Fame for the millennium," and Ebert and Roeper gave the film "Two Thumbs Up."

If you enjoy dance movies, you'll like this one.
