Board
of Health
The
Partners Home Care, Inc., in association with the Marshfield Board
of Health, will administer flu shots to Marshfield residents ages
3 and older on:
Monday, November 14, 2011 2:00 - 4:00 pm
230 Webster Street, Marshfield, Ma. 02050
Please remember to wear short sleeves or very loose fitting clothing
when attending a flu clinic.
Also please bring Medicare cards with you to the clinic.
In New England, flu season usually does not begin until December
and doesn't peak until January or February. In fact, flu vaccination
can and should continue through January and beyond, as long as vaccine
is available.
The VNA cautions that anyone who has had an allergic reaction to
eggs, gelatin or a previous dose of influenza vaccine should not
get a flu shot. People who have a fever, and those who have a history
of Guillain-Barre Syndrome should talk to their doctor before getting
a flu shot.
